COURSE CLOSED FRIDAY & SATURDAY 16-17 DECEMBER:

Due to the the considerable amount of surface water lying on the course, the decision has been made to close the course on Saturday as well as today. This hopefully will allow suffient time for most of the water to drain away. However, more rain is forecast this afternoon which may slow the process of restoring the course back to a playable condition.

If people have purchased a toy as an entry fee for Saturday's competition they can place it under the the Xmas Tree in the Richmond Mall or leave it at our office and it will be taken out to tree.

The Course Supertendent will make a decision early on Sunday morning as to whether the course will be opened on Sunday or not. Please ring the Pro-Shop on 548 5028 to find out if the course is open on Sunday.

I have attached a couple of photos to give members an indication of the extent of the lakes that formed on the course. One of them shows our Manager getting in some much needed bunker practice!
