A fund raiser for the club as well as giving you the chance to win great prizes every month.
This initiative is first and foremost an excellent fundraiser for our club, however, it also gives members the chance to win BIG MONEY PRIZES every month.
50% of all entry fees will go to benefit the club and the remaining 50% are paid out in prizes. Provided a full entry list is achieved, $1000 per month will be generated.
With the full quota of 100 exclusive members, the Club will therefore receive a much needed revenue of $500 per month.
Monthly prizes would then be as follows:-
1st Prize = $250
2nd Prize =$100
3rd Prize = $ 50
Total monthly payout of $400
The remaining $100 will be banked throughout the year to enable us to offer a BUMPER CHRISTMAS DRAW “JACKPOT” WITH A MINIMUM PRIZE OF … $1000 !
This special end of year “JACKPOT” will be in addition to the regular monthly prizes.
For just $10 per month, which is payable in various ways to suit your budget, you are helping the Club and giving yourself a chance to win $$$. Just ask Allison in the office for the options available. Your payment secures a personal ticket number. This gives you an amazing chance of winning a great prize, with much better odds than the lotto!
Once payment has been received, you will be given a number between 1 and 100. The numbers will be allocated as they are received and no specific number can be requested. There is no limit to how many tickets you buy, but the list is on a first come basis so get your application in today to ‘be in it to win it!’.
Calculations of payout figures depend on securing the support of 100 members, however, if the full quota of 100 members is not reached we will go ahead with the draw, but the prizes will be down sized on a pro-rata basis. If, as we hope, the response brings in more than 100 applications, we do reserve the right to increase the membership of the club, but please be aware any increased entry fees will be passed on in exactly the same way, ie. 50% to the club and 50% in prizes, so the more the merrier!
Nelson Building Society have been extremely helpful and have agreed to handle the paper work regarding the direct debits at no charge to the Club.
The main points again:
- Fill in the application form enclosed and return it to Alison at the golf club office. Remember to start the monthly payment from the 1st of the month you want to join. If you wish to take more than one number please just increase the amount of your direct debit accordingly, ie, 2 numbers = $20 per month.
- Once we receive your form we will allocate you a number and confirm that to you. That number will remain yours for the time you remain in the ‘100 Club’.
- There will be a draw, under scrutiny, every month, and winners will be notified by email or telephone. The monthly winners will also be shown in the newsletter and on the website.
THIS IS PRIMARILY A FUND RAISER AND SO FAR, WE HAVE RAISED OVER $15,000 FOR THE CLUB OVER THE YEARS IT HAS BEEN RUNNING.
