The next Tournament is at Takaka on Monday 13th September and entry sheets will be posted on the respective notice boards shortly.Takaka Club have requested early indication of numbers likely to attend so your earliest entry would be appreciated. Takaka members are regular supporters of our tournaments and therefore we would encourage maximum Nelson support.. Entry fees are being paid by The District Vets Assn in lieu of subsidised transport (as has been the case in past years.)

RESULTS OF PAT HARBROW TROPHY - SUNDAY 8 AUGUST:
The PAT HARBROW TROPHY was played for on Sunday afternoon with the weather improving drastically for it. Twenty one pairs participated in the mixed best ball stableford competition with a shotgun start at 11.30am. The trophy was shared this year with DIANNA & JOHN HAMBLETON and MICHELE REARDON & CRAIG MARSHALL both scoring 43 stableford points.

RESULTS OF EAGLES JUNIOR TOURNAMENT - SUNDAY 8 AUGUST:
The Nelson/Marlborough Eagles Golfing Society held their annual Junior Qualifying Tournament at Nelson Golf Club on Sunday 8 August. Eighteen under 17 year old junior members from a number of local clubs competed in good conditions after a rainy morning. The two best boys' gross and the best girl gross qualified for the National Junior Eagles Tournament to be held in Gisborne in September with all expenses paid. The qualifiers from this tournament were:-

BEN NORRISH (Nelson) 82
XAVIAR LAURIE (Nelson) 120
The best junior net scores were recorded by DANIEL GRIMES (Nelson) and RYAN CHISNALL who both recorded a net 73.
