https://sportnz.org.nz/resources/play-active-recreation-and-sport-at-alert-level-2/ First the Golf rules. 1. Trundler Shed – mask’s must be worn to pick up and drop off clubs. Please social distance where possible and use hand sanitizer. 2. Checking in – you will need to wear a mask in the Pro shop to print and receive your card for the round. Please pay using contact less methods if possible. 3. Practice areas are open but please try and stay 2 metres apart. (Masks not needed outdoors). 4. Bunkers will remain GUR (we received another 30mm of water overnight). Please take the nearest point of relief (this is taken from where your ball comes to rest, no closer to the hole.) 5. Flags need to always be left in and refrain from touching them were possible please. 6. No shaking hands at the end of the round – just a fist pump or elbow bump if need be. 7. Masks must also be worn when entering your cards in either the Pro shop or downstairs in the club rooms. Café rules: We have split upstairs into two areas with both areas having 50 seats. 1. Masks must be worn inside when you come upstairs. 2. Please sanitize your hands when you get upstairs. 3. If the Café seats are full, please make your way to the bar and order food and drinks from there and sit in the bar area. 4. Please keep your mask on till you have been served and are seated at your table. 5. Please sit with the group you played golf with. 6. No self-service the café staff must get food and drink for you! 7. We would prefer payment by Club Card or Eftpos, however, we will also accept cash. While we realise these rules are restrictive, we are just trying to follow the guidelines from Golf NZ and the New Zealand Government. We are hopeful that we will move down another level next week and have more freedoms both at Golf and in the Café. Thank you for your support and understanding as all the staff are under pressure to make your Golfing and Café experience the best that we can. As we are still working on the calendar as we are still in the dark around a couple of the competitions we are just going to release the weeks calendar and will do an update once we have more information. This week’s Calendar: Wednesday: Patron’s Cup Thursday: Pro’s Comp, Thursday Boys Friday: Pro’s Comp Saturday: Staig Cup first round and Pros comp. Sunday: Pros Comp Monday: Mixed Vets Shotgun start.
