ADVICE FROM NZ GOLF…
The Prime Minister has announced this evening that all of New Zealand moves to Alert Level 4 from 11:59pm tonight. Tuesday 17th August 2021
Auckland and the Coromandel Peninsula will be in this level for 7 days, the rest of the country will be in it for three days at this stage.
We are currently working with government on what the implications for golf will be. Based on current advice (and previous Alert Level 4 guidance), we suggest golf clubs act as follows:
- All golf club facilities close.
- Golf courses close.
- Essential golf course maintenance can be undertaken.
This advice may be updated after further consultation with government however we suggest all golf clubs and facilities proceed under this basis for now.
