13th April 2017

13 April, 2017 By Brendon O'Hara

What a week of rain. Its been great for the Fairway seeding program but has been very frustrating in relation to getting any mowing done on the Course in almost Spring like conditions. The wetness means it has been impossible to change holes due to the waterlogged soil. These will be changed early next week.

The Bunkers have all been trimmed around but they all have compacted considerably with all this rain.

The Grounds Committee decided to top some of the long rough this week. The areas topped had become quite thick and were beginning to cause problems.

I am away on leave until after Anzac Day so there won’t be a blog next week. Sheldon is also away but Gerry will be back fulltime for the next 2 weeks to help Dick out.
