Its been a busy week with the PGA Trainees here for the first three days. I am now down to a staff of Dick and myself as Gerry is still recuperating from his hip operation and Sheldon is off on annual leave. We don’t usually get down to two staff but Sheldon had booked his overseas holiday before Gerry was given a date for his hip replacement. We will however do as much as possible to maintain the Course in its normal standard.
We have seeded all the fairways except 5,15 and 18. These will get a more intensive seeding, slicing and possible sanding next week. There will be some seed visible on the surface but this is a small percentage of the amount applied. Some nice gentle rain would be lovely after we finish next weeks sowing.
