Well this month so far has been very different to the last 3 months of 2017. W have recorded 222mm of rain so far this month. The benefit of the seeding program on the fairways can now be seen with the regeneration of the grass due to the rain.
The warm, wet conditions are providing a challenge with grass growth in all areas. There is a lot of weedeating work to be done which we will get to as we get on top of the mowing of fairways, rough and tees.
The bunkers have been sprayed for unwanted grass and weeds. We are working our way around them re-shaping the sand. the worst ones are being done first.
Any remaining seed in the shed will be undersown on the Course in the next few weeks. We will then order enough fresh seed for a full under-sowing of the fairways in Autumn.
