The Greens are recovering well from the recent Verti-Drain. The machine was set at the maximum depth and disturbance it san achieve and the greens held up to it well. They were sanded on Monday, Fertilized on Wednesday and are now recovering well. I would like to Verti-cut and sand them again next Monday which will have them back to their normal putting surface within days. Thanks for your patience.
Just a reminder – Whenever you play golf, you should check the spray information board at the entrance to the Cart shed. We use the least harmful chemicals we can in every instance. We use no chemicals that require the closure of the Course but warnings should be followed regarding washing hands, etc after Golf. If any member has a concern about any spray application, please approach me and I can give you the relevant information about each chemical we use.
