21st August 2015

21 August, 2015 By Brendon O'Hara

It has basically been a week of routine maintenance on the Course. We have completed the irrigation repair in front of the 3rd green and replaced some of the broken irrigation valve lids.

With these warmer mid day temperatures, the grass is starting to grow. We will soon be back into our Spring programs of fertilisation, spraying and mowing. The un-mown rough will receive a strong herbicide and possible topping in places.

The Greens Committee is meeting in the coming weeks. If you have any suggestions regarding the Course, please pass on these to a Committee member so we can discuss it. The quality of our Tees are going to be a particular focus of the next meeting.
