This week we began our normal growth season verti-cutting and sanding program. This will resume monthly and is a major part in the no coring policy.
The rest of the week has been aimed at presenting the Course in its best possible condition for this weekends Fidelity Life Tournament. Things were going great until last nights 30mm of unforecast rain! This put a spanner in the works of the final preparation work we would have done today but the Course should still look in good condition. You certainly won’t find me complaining about rain at this time of the year but if possible 30mm over a week would be nice.
I plan to needle tine verti-drain the Greens next week and there will also be some night time spraying of Fairways if possible.
