23rd September 2016

23 September, 2016 By Brendon O'Hara

Well the grass has certainly woken up. The fertilizer applied to the fairways has certainly got them growing. We are short staffed most of September so this will provide a challenge to keep things looking tidy.

The remaining seed will be under-sowed into the worst of the Fairway areas over the next few weeks depending on any predicted rainfall.

The long rough was topped this week and will be sprayed as soon as the undesired grass begins to grow.

Gardens and bunkers will also be sprayed to eradicate weeds.

I hope you all get a chance to get out to play while we have these lovely Spring days. Fingers crossed we don’t get a long windy period this year.
