For some reason some of my recent posts have been lost in the process of me writing them and making it onto the website. Hopefully I have more luck this week.
The Course certainly has been well watered over the past month. The grass seed has certainly benefited and with the continuing warm spell we are seeing encouraging results especially on the 5th and 18th.
The extended areas around some of the Greens continue to improve. I would like to see these areas down to the same height of cut as the Greens over the next month. I may increase the Greens height of cut to speed up this process.
The 1st and 8th/12th Tees continue to improve. I intend to keep golfers of them for as long as possible to allow the seed to establish.
With this current wet spell can I please ask members to make special effort in repairing pitchmarks on Greens.
