We have replaced all the rakes in the bunkers with a new type endorsed by the Grounds Committee. Please remember to leave the rakes in the bunkers after use.
The long rough has now been topped in the areas I am going to spray a herbicide to thin it out. In accordance with the new policy from the Grounds Committee, once it has been sprayed it will be topped as required until it dries out enough to enable good playability.
All GUR bunkers have been rotary hoed and are now back into play except for the bunker on the left of the 17th Green. This will remain GUR until it is removed.
There is a lot of grass lying in the mowed rough. This is a result of wet mowing and its length and will reduce if the weather allows us to continue to mow over the coming weeks.
