I have been away for the past week. It is pleasing to see the new seed germinating on the Fairways. Its a long way to go, but together with another sowing of grass seed, this should see good recovery from the saltwater/ flooding. A nice warm April with minimal rain would help.
Over the coming weeks, the Greens will be verti-cut and seeded.
Preparation has begun for the Festival of Golf with a few challenges with Sheldon leaving meaning this has been brought forward.
Thanks to the volunteers that have been helping out on the Course recently. Your help is appreciated in letting us concentrate on other work.
The Grounds Committee is meeting next week. If there are any issues you would like raised, please inform a Committee member before next Tuesday night.
