Members will have noticed during the week a large dirt pile at the entranceway garden by the chipping green this week. This was the water mainline that supplies the Clubhouse and toilets on the Course. Sorry if you were affected by water outages during the week but this repair required the water to be turned off for periods during the week. Most of this work was done at 6am when the Greens Staff start the day.
The Greens were verticut this week. A follow up sanding will be done on Monday before the Vets Tournament.
Please be aware the Greens will be Verti-drained the week beginning 23rd November. This is the second of the Verti-drainings of the year. These are the bigger holes that cause more disruption than the monthly needle tines.
