More areas of rough ground and tree stumps have been mounded with a good soil mixture we have been excavating from the waste area on the left of the 7th hole. These areas will be sown with grass towards the end of the month when better seed germination can be expected.
All the Fairway sprinklers have been trimmed around and had any missing distance marker numbers replaced. The bunkers have also been trimmed around and tidied up.
Some areas have been mown out around the greens. Unfortunately the machine required to do this had a mechanical issue and the remaining areas won’t be completed until next week. These areas are intended to create a more Links like appearance around our greens.
Our rough mower has been undergoing some major repairs. As a result of parts taking longer than expected the rough is overdue a cut. This will be done next week.
