After discussion at Tuesdays AGM, the Grounds Committee have decided to top all in play Long Rough. This was started today and will continue over the coming week. This will give more visibility when looking for balls but will still provide a challenge.
A drilling rig is on Course by the 1oth Tees drilling a larger diameter bore than previously done. Hopefully a positive result will see quicker recharge for the proposed pond.
While down at the drill site I witnessed something I have never seen on Nelson GC. A weka came wondering out of the undergrowth. I would be interested to know if members have seen it before?
