The greens have been heavily sanded this week. They have also had a soil wetting agent applied to maximise the benefits of the rain we are currently receiving.
The fairways will greatly benefit from the rain today and hopefully tomorrow. A wetting agent would have greatly assisted them as well but unfortunately it is to windy to apply.
I am away for the next 10 days so there won’t be a report next week. The staff have a lot of jobs on the to do list including weed-eating bunkers, completing 5th waste area repairs, weed-eating sprinklers, irrigation repairs, etc.
