Turf Classic
It was a fantastic day for the Turf Classic with sun all day and not much wind which helped with some amazing scores on the course.
We had 125 in the field with three people not turning up at the last minute, thanks to the four that added an extra person to their group to make it work!
We had a lot of two’s but notably both David Riordan and Bryce Currie had two two’s.

You needed 42 points to be in the prizes which paid right down to 18 place.

NBS Open Tournament Results - March 2024
SATURDAY 16th & Sunday 17th MARCH 2024 – NBS Open Tournament Report
This year the NBS Open was a 2-day event in pairs. With just under 100 entries it was a fantastic tournament. The first day was 4BBB with some hot scoring from a lot of people the 3 front runners from day one were:
1st Karl Clark and Glenn Fitzpatrick (Motueka) 48 points
2nd Hurbert Martin and Diane Varey, 3rd 46 points Derek and Jeane Drysdale 46 points (on countback)
The second day was another cracking day. The course was set up fantastically with a few hard pins but also some gettable holes. It was a pairs Ambrose while scoring Stapleford points. Around half way round NBS true sponsorship kicked in when we were treated to a 15 minute airshow put on for all the golfers!
We had two teams score 50 Stableford’s for the day to leapfrog the previous days leaders.

Total Golf Tournament - August 2024
The Total Golf Open is a very unique Tournament as you play 18 Holes at Nelson Golf Club and 18 Holes at Motueka Golf Club. This tournament is open to both Men’s and Ladies with Official handicaps and is a Gross and Nett Tournament played in Grades. The Total Golf Open is Played on the last weekend of August each year and is also a Trial for the district rep teams. Who will have bragging rights this year as Total Golf Open Champion???
