A very demanding tee shot that you must keep to the right half of the fairway.
This gives you a good look at the green which slopes back to front.
Stay below the pin or risk a 3 putt.
-
Aim the tee shot left centre of the fairway to stay away from OB. 2nd shot aim for the corner of the dogleg. This will leave you about 70m from the green with a straight shot in.
Aim your approach to the left half of the green so the slope will help if you miss-hit.

Great Par 3. Aim for the left half of the green to avoid the run off to the right which would leave a tricky chip shot. Beware the prevailing wind from the north.
-
Great Par 3. Keep your tee shot out to the left to leave an easier chip onto the green. Avoid going right as you could get stuck in the rough and mounds. On the green keep the ball below the hole for an easier putt.

A great risk reward tee shot. Avoid the fairway bunkers on the left to give you a chance of reaching a well guarded green in two. To avoid the trouble play as a three shot hole by laying up off the tee.
-
Keep your tee shot up the left side of the fairway. Decision time…either go through the gap or lay up short of the deep bunker on the left. If you laid up now aim for the 3 conifers at the back of the green. If you went through the gap hit your 3rd down the left side of the fairway to leave an easier approach left of the front bunker. Hit the approach left side of the green so the slopes will help

-
Aim your tee shot left of the bunker on the corner of the dog leg. 2nd shot either hit over the bunker on the right hand corner or hit left of it. This will leave you a simple approach to the green.

Nelson’s signature hole. When the pin is front left keep short of the pin for best results. When the pin is back right, take an club extra to avoid catching the slope that guards the front of the green. Ball breaks towards the sea on this green.
-
Nelson’s signature hole. Aim your tee shot left of the front bunker. Try to get the ball just short of the green, or on if you can. A chip should be fairly simple along the green from this angle. Be careful not to leave a downhill putt on this slippery green. It breaks towards the sea.

Long dog leg left. Keep the tee shot left to shorten your approach into a table-top green. Avoid missing the green right as this leaves a tricky up and down to save par. The sloping green is deceptively fast from back to front.
-
Long par 4. Follow the fairway here. When approaching the green keep your shot to the left side to avoid the run off to the right which leaves a difficult chip. On the green keep the ball below the pin to leave an easier putt up the slope.

-
Follow the fairway off the tee. 2nd shot lay up short of the bunkers that guard the front of the green. This should leave a simple chip onto the green. Use a less lofted club if the pin is on the back tier so that the ball will run up the slope.

Long Par 5. Chance to open the shoulders but keep to the left of the fairway to avoid the deep rough which frames the right side. If going for the green in two, it’s better to be long than short. If laying up, the 100m mark is the best place to attack from.
-
Long Par 5. Keep down the left side of the fairway off the tee. 2nd shot also keep to the left. 3rd shot aim to leave yourself around the 100m marker. This will leave you a simple full shot onto the green for the 4th shot. Large flat green. Keep to the right side to avoid the hidden bunker on the left.

-
Keep down the left from the tee. 2nd shot also keep down the left to avoid the mounds and rough on the right. 3rd shot aim to get over the hill which is 75m short of the green. This will leave a simple chip up to the large green. Use a less lofted club so the ball rolls up the green.

Nice evelated tee. Aim down the left side short of the bunkers. It is important to keep the 2nd shot to the left as you go over the hill. Don’t aim straight at the pin. This will avoid the deep bunkers on the right of the fairway. 3rd is a nice straight chip shot into the green.

Straight par 4 but keep to the left half of the fairway to leave a better line into a green that sits angled left to right. The approach shot plays longer than you would think into the prevailing wind.
-
Decision time depending on how far you drive the ball. Either go over the mounds on the left or hit towards the hill on the right. 2nd shot aim down the left side, short of the mound that runs across the fairway. This will leave a straight forward pitch up the green that runs at an angle from left to right.

Keep your tee shot to the left of the fairway. 2nd shot aim up the gully in the fairway. 3rd shot keep to the left again to avoid the OB which comes in close to the green on the right. Accuracy off the tee is crucial to leave you with a clear shot to the elevated green. Take at least 1 club more on approach to counter the elevation change. Also allow for the prevailing wind which you may not feel from the fairway. Aim left half of the green to avoid slope.
-
Keep your tee shot down the left half of the fairway to avoid the hidden bunkers on the right. 2nd shot aim to get over the mounds in the middle of the fairway. 3rd shot pitch up onto the green.
