Nelson Pine Industries Ltd is a 100% owned subsidiary of Sumitomo Forestry Co Ltd, Japan. Nelson Pine Industries Ltd operates three Medium Density Fibreboard Plants, a Veneer Plant and Laminated Veneer Lumber Plant located in Richmond, South Island.
All Plants processes 1 million m3 per year of Radiata Pine resource secured from the Nelson/Marlborough region which represents 40% of the annual sustainable harvest.
