Nelson Golf Club's 18 hole championship course is adjacent to the district's airport and the picturesque waters of Tasman Bay.

It is only ten minutes travelling time from the centre of downtown Nelson and virtually next door to beautiful Tahunanui Beach and associated accommodation.

Nelson enjoys one of the most favourable climates in New Zealand with high sunshine hours which helps to explain why it is a popular golfing destination.

The golf course

Eighteen holes. Men's blue tees 6197 metres, Men's white tees 6042 metres. Women's yellow tees 5414 metres. Four par threes, four par fives (women five) and ten par fours (women nine). Large practice areas including driving nets.

The course recently hosted the 2008 Toro New Zealand Womens Interprovincial championships. The club programme can be read on "Programme 2010-2011".
