Reciprocal rights

Members of the following clubs can enjoy playing rights and privileges at Nelson Golf Course for two weeks per year:

Whangarei Golf Club
North Shore Golf Club
The Grange Golf Club
Remuera Golf Club
Hamilton Golf Club
Rotorua Golf Club
Napier Golf Club
Mount Maunganui Golf Club
Hastings Golf Club (half price)
New Plymouth Golf Club
Palmerston North Golf Club
Mirimar Golf Club
Marlborough Golf Club
Russley Golf Club
St Clair Golf Club
Invercargill Golf Club
Redlands Bay Golf Club in Queensland, Australia

LOCAL RECIPROCAL RIGHTS AGREEMENT NELSON - GREENACRES - MOTUEKA

This agreement provides for reciprocal rights to apply when the course of the club hosting any of the following events is closed to players other than those playing in the event:-

NDGA Stroke Play Championship
NDGA Match Play Championship
NDGA Mens Foursomes
NDGA Mixed Foursomes
District Association Open Days (Women)
Provincial Match Play Championship (Women), Nelson Golf Club
Waimea Championships, Greenacres Golf Club
Tasman Association Champion of Champions (Women)
Any NZGA Tournaments, Men, Women, Juniors
Two day tournament on consecutive days at different clubs (e.g. Southpine), reciprocal rights are available to the members of the clubs involved.

When any of the above tournaments are being held members of the club running the Tournament may play on either of the other clubs courses on payment of a $5.00 green fee on the following conditions:-

(a) Requests for start times must be made through the respective Club Pro/Golf Shop
(b) Requests should be made by 5p.m. on the day preceding the Tournament.

To facilitate the above the appropriate club will reserve 4 Tee times (16 places) for members of the other club in their AM draw and 4 Tee times (16 places) in their PM draw.

Any places not taken by 5p.m. on the day preceding the Tournament may be made available to members of the host club.

Requests for bookings received after 5p.m. on the day preceding the Tournament will be subject to availability and a starting time cannot be guaranteed.

The following are emphasised:-

All requests for start time MUST be made through the respective Club Pro/Golf Shop.
All players MUST report to the club Pro/Golf Shop before commencing play.

RECIPROCAL RIGHTS APPLY ONLY WHEN THE COURSE OF THE CLUB HOSTING ANY OF THE ABOVE EVENTS IS CLOSED TO ALL PLAYERS.

Non observance of any of the above conditions could result in the offending members(s) having his/her reciprocal rights withdrawn.

DISTRICT AGREEMENT

NOTE: Nelson members playing at either Greenacres or Motueka Golf Clubs only pay $15.00 green fees at any time other than when reciprocal rights apply as above
