Its been a busy week on the Course.
The Greens have been sanded, Sprinklers weed-eated and gardens sprayed for weeds. Turf has also been laid over the major irrigation failure we had on the 1st Fairway a few weeks ago.
The long rough on the right of the 1st Fairway has been topped. This is always a tough area to maintain to an acceptable level even with high rates of chemical. More suitable grass seed was broadcast through this area before the grass was topped which should provide an enviroment for the seed to establish.
As well as this work we had a Course to prepare for the Ladies Foursomes.
