The Fairways have been cut back down to the normal Height of Cut of 16mm. They will be cut less now that the frosts have arrived so we won’t be damaging the new grass with constant mowing. The fences on 5 and 18 have been increased to also protect the new grass as much as possible.
Depending on frosts and playing schedule, the Greens will be verti-cut and sanded next week. The Greens are also back to there normal Height of cut of 3mm with the new extensions looking better day by day.
There have been questions asked of the quality of the Practice Range Tee area. The Greens Staff are contracted to mow the Practice area but Glyn has leased the range off the Airport and runs it as part of Total Golf. He has plans for improvements for the Tee but any work done there is at his request and he is charged accordingly.
