With two staff off on annual leave leaving just two of us at work we have been mainly doing routine work around the Course.
We did manage to get the Greens sanded and Tees fertilised with a major application for the year. We have also spent time over on the reclaimed practice fairway preparing it for use. Thanks to the volunteers who raked up the grass for us during the week. I was hoping to get the unmown rough sprayed to thin it out but this was postponed due to wind. I will do this as soon as the conditions allow.
A large area next to the pond of the 1st has now been mown out to fairway height. I think this will be the last of these areas we do for now.
