What a great week of weather at the Nelson Golf Club. The frosty mornings have meant we have had a lot of time in the sheds preparing the machinery for the upcoming growth season. We have also been out tidying up gardens around the Course and also some much needed attention was given to the entranceway garden over at the clubhouse.
The seats have been put back out onto the Course. They have all been stripped back, repaired and painted so they should last a few more years yet.
Next week the fairways will be sliced, greens will be needle tine verti drained and hopefully we will begin digging out the extension of the Frog Puddle Pond. All going to plan, we will also sand the greens at the end of the week.
