25th September 2015

25 September, 2015 By Brendon O'Hara

Many of you will be pleased to know the long rough was sprayed this week. This will be monitored over the next month and any remedial spraying in the lusher areas will be done.

We had a busy week generally tidying up the bunkers, weedeating sprinklers and distance markers and sowing the GUR areas in the rough with seed.

The fertiliser program has really kicked in on the Fairways. They will be mown regularly over the coming months with the aim of presenting the Course in the best condition possible while the weather allows. I need to check with the Board at our upcoming meeting, but I imagine we will continue with the past few years decision not to irrigate Fairways again this year.
