It has been a busy week fertilizing Greens, Surrounds and Fairways. The 5mm of rain we have had will wash everything in nicely and we should see a response over the coming weeks. The Tees have also been sprayed for weeds.
The last remaining spray job is now a herbicide application for weeds in the Fairways and rough which will be done as soon as possible.
The 5th mounds have been sown with grass and should have sign of establishment in the next week or so.
Work continues with the re-shaping around the filled in bunker on the 6th. This should be completed next week.
I will begin topping the Long Rough on Wednesday. The chemical has had a very positive result so some areas may be left as they have reached the desired standard the Grounds Committee are are aiming for.
